In the same week as World Mental Health day and World Homeless day, 84 Oxfordshire Mind runners ran the Oxford Half Marathon.
On a weekend forecasted with wind and rain, it was a beautiful, sunny day. All of our Oxfordshire Mind team loved meeting our 2022 runners and celebrating their achievements.
We were amazed at the resilience of the many first-time half-marathon runners; their determination and commitment to our cause continues to mean so much to us. It was also excellent to meet some familiar faces, we love meeting previous Oxfordshire Mind runners who dedicate their time every year to support us.
From all at Oxfordshire Mind, thank you to everyone who ran on the 16th October 2022 in aid of Oxfordshire Mind and better mental health. The cost-of-living crisis and the long-term consequences of COVID-19 have highlighted the necessity for our services and all their donations will go directly towards our essential services and support our local community.
You’re all amazing!
