Cheryl, one of our Oxfordshire Mind service users is selling origami flowers to raise money for mental health support!
Cheryl said: “I started making paper origami flowers after attending sessions at the [Oxfordshire Mind] Witney hub myself. I was shown by one of the facilitators in the art session. I suffer from anxiety and mental health issues and wanted to give something back to [Oxfordshire] Mind as they have been absolutely fantastic. I make origami flowers which I sell to my local community. The response had been amazing.
I have a Facebook page called Cheryl’s MINDful Flowers“
So far, Cheryl has made over 79 bunches of the flowers (which equals to 474 individual petals), and raised over £200!
A very big thank you to Cheryl for her fundraising and hard work in making these beautiful flowers, we really appreciate your support!
