The Mind in Berkshire programme is a collaboration between Oxfordshire Mind and Buckinghamshire Mind. Is is aimed at increasing third sector capacity to deliver mental health support across Berkshire. The local minds are working together to strengthen partnerships and alliances across Berkshire with public, private and many of third sector organisations active in this area, remaining committed as always to the principles of the Mind Federation Agreement:
- delivering services for the benefit of service users
- delivering fair and worthwhile benefit
- sharing learning and best practice and connections
- working together with openness and honesty in the spirit of collaboration and cooperation
- responding with good faith in a timely manner
- valuing diversity and inclusion, promoting equality and challenging discrimination.
Mind Wellbeing Workers are pleased to offer free one-to-one sessions to people who may be experiencing mental health issues or other social or lifestyle issues that are impacting on their wellbeing. The support provided aims to encourage and enable people to link in with local community support. It also helps people develop tools to increase their ability to manage their own wellbeing.
“Mind in Berkshire are here to support you, perhaps you are struggling to sleep, feeling overwhelmed with stress, dealing with multiple responsibilities or feeling unable to concentrate. Our supportive workers will provide you with tools that may help you feel more able to manage these challenges.”
